I had a witchy phase in elementary school but “you’ll go to hell for that” made me stop. This is the first witchy book I read as an adult and as someone who usually reads psychological thrillers and historical fiction I wasn’t sure how it would go. It was enjoyable - not to heavy, a little bit of romance, and a mystery to solve. I wanted to read another book exactly like it when I reached the end.

Synopsis

There’s something magical about Yarrow, Kentucky. The three witches of the Haywood family are known for their shadow garden—from strawberries that taste like chocolate to cherry tomatoes imbued with the flavors of basil and oregano. Their magic can cure any heartache, and the fruits of their garden bring a special quality to the local bourbon distillery.
